My hair's confused. i need help?

my hair used to always be pin straight. there wouldn't even be a single strand that was wavy. i thought it was because im asian and most asians have straight hair. then in the 7th grade the front part of my hair began to curl just by itself. now my hair has waves and some spirals curls in the front but it is still straight in the back. is there a reason why this happen? i never used to straighten my hair until this happened. i also noticed my hair half way down my back and then i cut it to just above my shoulders in the middle of 9th grade, the front became even more curly. now there are days when the front of my hair is severly curly and/or wavy.

How to avoid production of Phlegm in the body?

When I go to bed at 11 pm,, I get good sleep for just 4 hours, and a sudden cough wakes me up. After two or three coughs, phlegm comes to my mouth along with cough. Since I do not like to swallow it, I will be forced to get up and go to bath room to spit it out. There, for 5 minutes, cough with phlegm, spitting it out, continues 4 or 5 times. That is all. Afterwards I can go to sleep for another 4 hours, without any problem. This is a nuisance to my wife and is annoying me also. Mental disorder ? (Very long but I beg of you to take the time to read)?

Hi, I'm a 16 year old female. I'm the middle child of 3 daughters and live with both my parents however they fight a lot. When I was 11 my dad left home for the first time but it was only for a week, he leaves a lot but always comes home after a while. The longest time he left was for 3 weeks. However, my father has bought an apartment and plans to move into it after my older sister is dropped off at college (This august). A few years ago when i was 13, I was bullied by a group of girls in my grade, i would be so scared i spent recess hiding and would only leave school until all the girls had left. I would go home and sleep before I had lunch or did anything else I just get into bed and my mum noticed that something was wrong but I don't talk to her about my life (we don’t have such a good relationship) so she only officially found out when the school gave them a worrying phone call. I am now best friends with some of those girls and so there is no reason to remain "depressed" about that. The effect of the bullying should have worn off. For about 4 years now, I’ve had extreme mood swings. I've had days of major depression where i fake being sick to stay in bed and avoid going to school. At social outings I sometime get really upset and leave early without knowing the reason for why I feel so bad. I may burst into tears for no particular reason.There are times where I am extremely irritable and want to do nothing but sit in the dark under the covers. I have a terrible temper and often get into rages, when i get really angry with my siblings i may physically hurt them and my mother always tells me what a difficult child I am. At other times I feel quite normal but it doesn't last long. And sometimes I am over the top happy and nothing can bring me down i feel more sociable than ever, I'm laughing making jokes, singing, having the time of my life that my friends tell me I'm not acting normal and my mother says that if i weren't at home all day she'd say i was on something or drunk. My energy levels would be over the top and I’m probably the happiest most bubbly person alive. I feel like a puppet and no one knows who's pulling the strings. About three years ago I started cutting and ice-burning (ice & salt burns) myself when I got upset or angry but recently the cuts and burns have increased and i do it much more often. I got caught cutting in school once, it was a terrible day i felt so depressed for no reason, i was crying hysterically and had no control over myself. it was one of the worst and most embarring days of my life. At a party once i was dancing with this guy when i suddenly felt so sad i started crying and screaming and felt depressed for the rest of the party. Someone thought that the screaming and sudden crying was because i was wasted and attempted to force me to vomit but i had had only 2 gles and i could walk properly and so i was not even tipsy. Last year at a summer camp I attended someone caught cuts on my arm and I was put into the health center for 4 days until my parents had to take a 12 hour flight to pick me up, I felt as if I was in a mental hospital. I tried to run away from the health center numerous times they even igned someone to “keep an eye on me” yet I managed to run away I was brought back to the health center in a security car and it was scary. They’d call my parents and tell them “your daughter is on the loose on campus” as if I was some nut case. My grades this year have gone down tremendously, they started decreasing about 2 years ago but this year i failed 5 subjects in the first semester and 2 in the second. Even at 16 I still have nightmares that keep me up at night and I have trouble sleeping it takes me hours to fall asleep and i wake up numerous times every night. And i have gained more weight this year than i have ever gained (I’m not overweight , I just gained weight). I was diagnosed with ADD but i think it's not ADD and has something to do with another mental disorder. I don't feel normal and i've lost friends because of my constant extreme mood swings they always tell me i'm either too happy or too sad i have no in-between and sometimes i do feel that way. I've been going to a therapist since february and i don't see myself getting anywhere. She's not the first therapist i've been to, i've been to two others over the past 3 years and nothing is working with me. My mother also tells me i always blow things out of proportion. When i fought with her one time i ran away from home for about 7 hours. My boyfriend cheated on me with a younger girl 3 times i forgave him the first 2 times but the third time i unwillingly let go and i was depressed and lonely for about a month.

Pharmaceutically speaking, no these are not narcotics. Although they are all commonly referred to as such, only opiate derived drugs and medications are technically narcotics. Opium, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, codeine and hydrocodone are examples of narcotics. Methamphetamine and cocaine are both stimulants, and LSD is in a cl of it's own. This is really immaterial however because it is only a conflict of semantics. Any way you look at it, each of these is a cl I scheduled drug (allowed only for research and conversion), and can be extremely destructive in their own right.

There is some nice description here and some good structure, however I agree with the other person who commented and said it's more showing than telling. Also, I think the reader is introduced to too many characters, too quickly. I'm confused with all the names that are being thrown around, especially when women's former surnames are added to the mix. Perhaps you could start with the main character's first memory and then a bit of factual stuff.

Stepmom wanting to teach stepdaughters how to bathe properly?

My fiance and I have primary custody of his 4 daughters (ages: 6,7,7,10). I have a larger mixed breed who is 45lbs. I also have a giant breed who is 110lbs. I'm currently feeding proplan shredded dog food. I'm wanting to switch to just proplan. With the shredded my dogs tend to eat only the shredded pieces. The regular comes in large breed adult and small breed adult. Do I need to buy each their own or would my small breed do well on the large breed or vs.? They tend to bowl share and I do not want to separate them because they do well this way and will look for each other if one of them is missing. Before anyone gives me that proplan is crap food and I should reconsider I have tried Innova, Merrick, Canidae, and just about every other premium available where I live. and for some reason proplan is the only food all my dogs do well on. They have good stools, they are healthy, shiny coats, etc. So basically summing up my question is it ok to buy just one type of food for all 3 or should I get a different one for my smaller dog?

My buddy and I just became roommates. He has kept his pit upstairs, seperated from both my cat and his. I am a firm believer that any dog, pit or not, if brought up right can be normalised with other people and animals. Am I wrong? Are pit-bulls naturalyy pre-disposed to being animal agressive? Also he keeps the dog seperated from just about everyone else as well. Besides one other roommate, me, and himself we have a nother roomate that the dog is aggressive towards. My thought is that by isolating the dog, he is de-socializing it and reinforcing aggressive behavior. Instead of working with the dog to help curb this over-energitic aggressiveness, he just keeps it isolated. Any suggestions regarding how my buddy is raising his dog? I own both. WoW is a thousand times better but Guild Wars is a lot of fun! ( I'm actually not sure if you can fish in it though) After level 20 you can still kind of level up to get more skill points, and you can even do quests to get more skills. But still I prefer WoW (especially with Cataclysm coming out) but if you need to save money try Guild Wars because it's a pay once kind of thing. I am on my 3rd kid and i am always tired and always sick. My stomach churns all day and it's hard for me to work full time and then come home to my family and have any energy to do anything but sleep cause i dont feel well. I have tried saltines in the morning, cinnamon capsuls. I have yet to try ginger ale, or ginger snaps, or ginger tea. Any ideas will help. Help with an exotic grout line approach?

I am a first time home-buyer, and I have a few ideas. I have been reading, and nobody feels confident about laying tile without grout lines. I want a solid look, like banks or museums have, and I thought that laying granite tiles without grout might more or less accomplish that. I realize that they may be uneven and not line up and have gaps and whatnot, but check this: how about laying them as close to perfect as possible (with or without adhesive), then spreading a clear coating a few mm's thick over it, like some sort of resin or epoxy or something? Has anyone thought or done this, or am I just dreaming too big?

I have a question for American folks...If some foreign film industry was to produce a successful film which pokes fun at Americans and American culture, would you laugh? If the film pokes fun at teen pregnancy, school killings, obesity, divorce rates and reinforces the stereotype that all Americans are stupid, would you guys laugh at yourself or would you be upset/angry?American movies/ media tend to be extremely negative or stereotypical towards other cultures..I guess that is the American definition of entertainment.To look down at other cultures.The recent example is a movie called "The love guru" with Mike Myers. Exhaust system price?

1990 olds calais 4 cyl. I think. I have no exhaust system, muffler ,pipes, nothing. Car sounds like it wants to fall over and die. It still drives but the engine sounds really bad and the check engine light came on once. it is very rusted on the bottom like when it rains or snows there is puddles in my floor boards. how can i fix that? and how much would it be for a whole exhaust system for this car? Also, is it safe to drive it 10miles and then 10 miles back. I have to go to work tonite and I can't put it in the shop till the morning? please help i am really nervous to drive this car thanks.

I let my kids fuss for a bit before they sleep and they are happy children. my daughter normally will fuss for a minute and then talk to herself for at least 20 minutes before she hits the on on her glow worm and crashes and she's 15 months. If she screams for 5 minutes I go in to check on her, but I don;t feel the need to keep them up just because they whimper a bit at bed time. There is a big difference between letting them scream bloody murder and letting them whine a bit. Follow the guidelines. Let them fuss for 5 minutes and then go in. Parents should know what cry's mean what. You guys are acting like we leave the kids in there crying for hours at a time and that's not the case. We aren't lazy. Our parenting skills just differ. Notice she said a few minutes not hours. Get a grip people.

How difficult is it to transplant a Chevy 350 (5.7L) V8 into a 5th generation El Camino?

I am looking at a 1987 Chevy El Camino. It's a solid vehicle, and pretty cheap, but it's main drawback is that it only has the 4.3L V6. I know that the 5th generation (1978-87) El Camino's came with the 350ci (5.7L) V8, but I'm just wondering if the V6 models have the same facilities to allow the V8 to practically drop right in, or whether the V6 model would need some modification to allow the 350 V8 to fit in.

Bronchitis?

I have been coughing for 2 weeks now. On Tuesday (today is Sat) I went to the doctor and they told me I have bronchitis and gave me a 5 day antibiotic (Zithromax) and an inhaler (albuterol) Now Im done with the antibiotic and am still coughing quite a bit. I still get short of breath from moving around too fast, and my chest feels tight, but I am not in pain. What confuses me though is that sometimes it's like a wheezy kind of cough and sometimes it's a very congested-like cough where I will cough up phlegm (sorry for the gross detail) and sometimes I will go a few hours without coughing at all. What is going on? Should I go back to the doctor? I am not asthmatic, I am not a smoker,I am only 21 and have never really experienced anything like this before. Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Spotting, Pregnancy, and the Pill?

I have been on the pill for 2 years. I have never had any spotting or breakthrough bleeding during the month. I always start and end my period on the expected days. However, this month I started to bleed two days early. It has been very light and not its normal color. I am worried it is implantation bleeding. I have also cramps and tender but i also get these symptoms with a normal period. I did miss one pill this month but i took it the following day. could i be pregant? when is the earliest i could take a pregnancy test? I know in two days I will have more info based on whether or not my real period actually starts... but i want to know sooner! im so scared!
