Electric Bikes considering my first purchase?

Get a bike with low gears so you can spin up that hill. The good electric bikes are expensive and when they run down you have a 50 lb bike to pedal around. Climbing hills will made you stronger. I have a hybrid that has lower gears then my mountain bike it will climb anything you want. You can buy hub motor kits that have a lot more power. In the states 250 w is the maximum allowed and there is also a max top speed that is allowed.
