Fallout New Vegas choppy from the start...?

I have installed and reinstalled, I even took the game back and got a replacement. From the beginning the motion is extremely choppy and jerky, enough to give me a headache. I mean it's not smooth at all... Anyone have this same issue? Any solutions? Thanks in advance...
