Ps3 or psp buying problem ?

hi guys just help me. my father is coming on 16th from ksa i told him to bring psp but my brother says to bring ps3 slime or fat(since the price has got down to 299$) but the prblem the blu ray dis costs alot.I live in india and the disc costs 2500rs. which is more and i think my father will not buy it.please give me a good answer
