Stableford play in Tiger woods 08 Golf by EA sports.?

I just bought this game (PC version) and really like it. I am not a golfer and have never played the actual game. In Tiger challenge you must p a number of increasingly difficult tests to improve your game,. I am on the easy ones and one is a stableford but I have no idea and the game doesn't say, how to score. I keep losing with pars and under as well as with all over par shots. I play the game pretty well but this one I don't know what I am supposed to accomplish. If you know, I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.
