Had my acne under control and then huge breakout?

so I finally had my acne under control (occasional small bumps, nothing big) for about half a year. Great regimen, never missed a day. All of a sudden when I wake up today i have four red,huge, pimples on my right cheek (face). The area surrounding the pimples are bright red (almost purple) so it looks horrible. This is a complete nightmare. Why is this? What happened? any suggestions on treating this before walking into work tomorrow with a paper bag over my head?
