Do you think Frankenstein's monster is sympathetic or is it an abomination?

he is sympathetic. he was created against his will and abandoned. many could say that it was a reflection of gods creation of humans and the subsequent dark human mind and actions that followed. The monster represents karma in a lot of respects. Victor played god, left his creation in the dust and ran away. He didnt give it any thought. The monster taught himself how to read and in many respects became smarter than victor.
