Lords Prayer.. why recited over and over?

The Lord's prayer(Matt.6: 9- 15) is recited and said , over and over, Why? Considering what Matt. 6:5-9 says, especially verse 7 "And when you pray do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do....." just before the Lords prayer..
