Animals and insects that live in the Amazon are very important part of the ecosystem, just as the Amazon is important to man. Deforestation that is taking place is killing the animals that live there who are extinct and who are very important to society. This beautiful, lush area that has taken millions of years to grow will be gone forever and so will some of the most important animals and insects scientists are studying will be lost forever.
